Health and Social Care Moray in partnership with Cairnstar Ltd hold Boogie in the Bar events every 3 months in Joanna's nightclub, just off Elgin High Street for members of our over 60's community.

Boogie in the bar is for older people across Moray to enjoy a day time dance in a night club environment. It's the first of its kind in Moray and coincides with a health theme campaign. Through enjoying a boogie, jive or shuffle in your seat everyone can enjoy the music from the 50s and 60s. It's a friendly disco so people can come on their own or with others and they can meet new people. Bar open for soft drinks.

The event is supported by volunteers, a local community group, who benefit from the money taken at the door. All staff from Joanna's nightclub are there as volunteers.
